About Us

To date, Quantum Leap Asset Management, through the 8+ funds it has managed, has raised un-levered, gross proceeds of approximately $80M in its own funds, over €300M in co-launched funds and mobilized in excess of C$500M directly into Quantum Leap portfolio companies. Quantum Leap acts as a "sector specialist" and is recognized as pioneering many successful early stage investments and strategies in the low carbon, energy and efficiency marketplace.  Its leadership in managing assets is further reinforced by the recent launch of the Quantum Leap Mortgage Investments Fund, a vehicle for investors to obtain solid returns from solid assets by focussing on off-market, risk-adjusted residential mortgage deals with a gradual introduction of green improvements.
Quantum Leap has been pro-actively involved in the management and development of investee companies, bringing them to the stage where they are well placed to receive more substantial funds from larger institutional investors.  Accordingly, Quantum Leap has established a niche reputation amongst a short list of well respected peer investors in our marketplace, with co-investment partners such as Good Energies, Emerald Ventures, Chrysalix, Venture Link Funds, Parteq Innovations, and Investeco, follow-on funding from Mission Point Capital and Zouk Capital and corporate Investors such as OPG (Ontario Power Generation) and EPCOR (Edmonton Power Corp.).
Quantum Leap Asset Management (“Quantum Leap”), a wholly owned subsidiary of The Climate Change Infrastructure Corporation has provided Climate Change Sector investment advisory services to groups and funds that have included industry leaders such as Covington Capital Corporation Canada, a former subsidiary of AMG: Affiliated Managers Group Inc., First Asset Power Gen Funds Inc., a division of First Asset Investment Management Inc. often working in cooperation with banking-led syndicate structures that have included Canadian Imperial Bank Commerce (“CIBC”), Bank of Montreal (“BMO”) and Toronto Dominion Bank (“TD Bank”).  CIBC has been lead or co-lead for all of Quantum Leap’s funds to date.
